At our Center Line MI dealership the 2019 Ford Escape is our most popular vehicle. We have a ton of these small SUVS in stock, and we regularly write about the Escape on our blog! Today we’ll look at the following areas: Lights, Visibility, and Instruments.

Lights

The Escape is available in four trims: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. The SE trim has available LED lights and starting on the SEL trim the stronger lights are standard. If you leave your Sterling Heights home early to get into Detroit before the morning rush hour or you do a lot of evening driving, you’ll definitely appreciate the LED lighting. On the Escape Titanium trim there is also ambient lighting. Get ready to set the mood in the cabin!

Visibility

Being able to see out of your Ford Escape is important, and that’s especially true if you need to merge on the highway or a busy city. With the available Blind spot information system (aka: BLIS®) you can monitor anything that’s in your blind spot! Yes, you should still check over your shoulder, but it’s nice to have technology for those few seconds a vehicle might be lurking just out of sight in a passing lane.

Other visibility aids include rear cross-traffic alert (this is paired with blind spot monitoring) and a standard backup camera.

Instrumentation

Touchscreen: most Ford Escape models come with the SYNC®3 infotainment system that consists of an 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM.

SecuriCodeTM: select Escape trims have the invisible SecuriCodeTM keyless entry pad. This lets you leave you keys safely locked in your vehicle while you’re doing things around Warren MI.

Navigation: the top Titanium trim has a standard voice-activated navigation system. We love that you can also pinch and zoom in on the map, as well as see traffic with the SiriusXM Traffic feature.

Here are some of our favorite features for each of the four Ford Edge trims.

  • SE: for shoppers who like to keep tech on the simpler side, the SE has standard SYNC® voice recognition technology that is award-winning. When driving through Warren MI you can easily give your Edge commands without having to use a robotic voice.
