Exterior Design
The first thing you'll notice when you lay your eyes on the Escape is its sleek exterior design. It features an overall modern sense of style, along with a distinct grille and the sportiness of dual chrome exhaust tips and a rear spoiler.
Plus, there are plenty of color options when it comes to picking the Escape that matches your personal tastes. These options include Dark Persian Green, Velocity Blue, and Desert Gold.
Ford Escape Interior Space
Inside the Ford Escape, there are two rows of seating, which can accommodate five passengers. Everyone will have plenty of space wherever they sit, thanks to the 104 cubic feet of passenger volume that is supplied in the cabin of the Escape.
Plus, you will also have added space in the back for any supplies and items you need to carry along with you in your new Ford SUV. Behind both rows, there is up to 37.5 cubic feet of cargo volume. This space increases to 65.4 cubic feet of cargo volume when you fold down the rear seats and use that area for additional cargo.
Escape Performance
Balanced with that cabin space is an efficient powertrain. Its standard 1.5L EcoBoost® engine comes with Auto Start-Stop Technology that helps lower fuel consumption. With this, the Escape gets up to an EPA-estimated 27 city/33 highway MPG.
You can also opt for the more powerful 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, which creates 250 horsepower. With this engine, the Ford Escape is capable of pulling your trailer around, since it can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. Â
Ford Escape Trim Levels
There are also various trim levels that are offered with the Ford Escape. Each of them builds off the previous trim, adding more tech features and premium cabin amenities to the SUV.
The base trim level is the S trim, and it comes standard with the safety technologies found in the Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of safety features. Jump up a trim level to the SE trim, and you'll get to enjoy the smartphone integration that comes with the SYNC® 3 infotainment system.
If you want a luxurious ride in your new SUV, take a look at the Titanium trim level. With it comes leather seating, a dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control system, and ambient lighting.Â
