Ford F-150 Lightning

The latest edition to Ford's iconic F-Series is set to be its most electric yet! The Ford F-150 Lightning comes with the same toughness as the rest of the F-Series, but with a fully electric powertrain for eco-friendly driving.

To see what awaits in this pickup and if it is the new truck you'd like to take out on the roads of Detroit, Sterling Heights, and Warren, check out the various Ford F-150 Lightning reviews from Crest Ford, which you will find all on this page!

Running Purely Off Electric Power

The F-150 is able to create 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. That isn't created though from a robust V6 or even V8 engine-it's from the battery that powers the electric motors, which then send all that power to the wheels without any emissions.

With it, you won't need to stop at the gas pump any more to fill your truck with fuel. You will be able to drive around up to an estimated 300 miles before needing to simply charge it at a station nearby or home. Plus, with Intelligent Range, you will always know how many miles you have left before needing to charge, and you can even use Power My Trip to map out charging stations along the way!

The Capabilities You Need From Your Truck

Even though it doesn't have the traditional gas-powered engine many associate with pickup trucks, the Ford F-150 Lightning is still set to give you strong capabilities. With all the power its all-electric motor can crank out, the F-150 Lightning will be able to tow a maximum of 10,000 pounds.

You can also fit plenty in the bed since its payload capacity reaches 2,000 pounds. You can store more items in the front trunk, which has 14.1 cubic feet of cargo space for you to use under the hood. Thanks to its standard 4X4 system, the F-150 Lightning is ready to drive over any road or terrain.

Innovative Safety Systems and Cabin Features

The F-150 Lightning also comes with a great deal of advanced technology features, including safety systems that can assist you, whether you are attempting to back up your trailer or changing lanes on the highway.

It also features Ford's most advanced infotainment system yet: the available SYNC® 4A system. This comes with a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen and enhanced voice recognition to make it easy for you to change the song, make a call, or look up directions.

Ford F-150 Lightning Trim Levels

The F-150 Lightning is also available in various trim levels. The Pro is the base trim and comes standard with many features, including the systems a part of Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0. Next in line is the XLT, and it features signature front lighting, a 360-degree camera, and Interior Work Surface.

The Lariat upgrades the interior with the addition of leather-trimmed seats, which can be heated and ventilated in the front, along with a twin-panel moonroof. The Platinum trim level offers a luxurious ride with the Active Motion® seats, B&O® Unleased Sound System, and Nirvana leather seating surfaces.
