While there are many ways to configure your new Ford F-150 to give you the towing power and cabin space you need, it also has various design features to choose from within its range of trim levels.
To help you figure out which of the Ford F-150 trim levels you'd prefer drive around Detroit, Sterling Heights, and Warren, our Crest Ford team gives you more insight into the features each offers.
Ford F-150 XL and XLT
The base trim level of the F-150, the XL, features a handful of high-tech systems, including the 8-inch Center-Stack Touchscreen, which is equipped with SYNC® 4. With it, you'll be able to choose your entertainment, keep in touch with friends, and more.
It also features many safety technologies, from the Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist to Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. The XLT adds even more safety assistance, with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0 package. It also features the added style of its 2-bar-style black grille with Chrome surround and Black accents.
Lariat and King Ranch Trim Levels
Next up is the Lariat, which comes with an additional display. That is the 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen, which features a unique theme for each of the various driving modes. Its center touchscreen is also 12 inches, and it is now easier to put on your playlist, find directions, or make a call, since the SYNC® 4 system now comes with enhanced voice recognition.
The King Ranch comes with its own uniquely elegant interior design, which includes its Java leather seats. These can be heated and ventilated in the front row. This trim also features 10-way power front seats as well as the B&O Sound System.
F-150 Platinum and Limited
Even more luxury and high-tech systems are found in these higher-end Ford F-150 trim levels. The leather seats of the Platinum feature Active Motion®, which lets you enjoy different massaging settings to provide added comfort while driving.
The Ford F-150 Limited has this feature, plus it comes with the stylish Light Slate and Admiral Blue interior color. It also comes with Active Park Assist 2.0 and Pro Trailer Backup Assist™, which gives the F-150 the ability to park and parallel park itself into any space and assists in backing up your trailer.
Ford F-150 Tremor and Raptor
The last two trim options are more performance-oriented. The Tremor is ready to give you great off-roading capabilities, thanks to its 33-inch all-terrain tires, electronic-locking rear differential, and Tremor-specific monotube shocks, which provide additional damping and control along the trails.
Wherever you go, the Raptor is ready to unleash its full potential, which is evident the moment you push down on the gas pedal and let the 3.5L EcoBoost® High-Output V6 get to work. It also features excellent handling, control, stability, and comfort while driving, thanks to its 5-link rear suspension and sport-tuned shock absorbers.
