Ford Edge Passenger Space

The 2021 Ford Edge features a spacious interior with seating for five. Both rows have ample headroom and legroom to stretch out and relax, so passengers can enjoy a long trip in comfort. It's designed to accommodate everyone, from tall drivers to three passengers sitting comfortably side by side in the back seats. Just look at how much room it gives you and your passengers…

Interior Amenities

In addition to all the space inside, the 2021 Ford Edge offers comfortable amenities in every trim level. For example, the seat cushions are both supportive and soft. Cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats are standard, but ActiveX™ and leather seats are also available.

You can also upgrade the cabin with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and features like power-adjustable front seats, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. The cabin also includes eight cupholders, so everyone can bring a water bottle or a cup of coffee along for the ride.

Families with small children will also find convenient features, including two sets of LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) connectors and a middle tether anchor for installing child safety seats. The connectors and anchors are simple to access and attach but can be tucked away when not in use.

Once everyone is strapped in and ready to go, you can create the perfect atmosphere for your drive. Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control allows both rows to enjoy the right temperature, while cool-blue ambient lighting sets a relaxing mood inside. You can also brighten things up with some natural light using the available Panoramic Vista Roof®

Ford Edge Cargo Room

The Edge has a spacious cargo area for all your gear. When the seats are up, the Edge has 39.2 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. If you need to load more, you can use the standard 60/40 split folding rear seats to give yourself some extra space. When the seats are folded down, the space expands to 73.4 cubic feet of cargo room.

With that kind of space, you can fit everything, from groceries and luggage to larger cargo, like bikes and furniture. Plus, to help you load up, the 2021 Edge offers lots of amenities. Cargo tie-down hooks and a cargo net can keep everything secure, while the Below-floor Rear Cargo Management feature gives you a good spot to store extra bags or emergency supplies.  

Not only that, but rear privacy glass and a cargo area cover can help you hide valuables and surprise presents. Plus, a hands-free, foot-activated liftgate is also available to help you load up when you've got your hands full. Just wave your foot in front of a sensor in the back bumper and the trunk will open up for you.

Ford SYNC® 4A Infotainment System

With a 12-inch touchscreen in the dashboard, the Ford Edge's interior feels like a state-of-the-art command center. This large monitor is home to SYNC® 4A with Enhanced Voice Recognition. It includes all sorts of smartphone compatibility, as well as other convenient features.
